The touch-screen workbench/production test digital multimeter has more measurement capabilities (including transient capture, data visualization and analysis), and its price is only 6 ½ A digital multimeter is equivalent.

Wider measurement Obtain 15 built-in measurement functions, including digitization, capacitance, and temperature. Perform low current and low resistance measurements on low-power devices. Use the built-in digitizer to capture transient signals. View both measurements simultaneously to maximize the test data. DMM6500 eliminates the need for other instruments.

1 M sampling/second, 16 bit digitizer.	Perform finger opening and closing scaling operations on the signal.	Statistical information, such as the average, maximum, minimum, and standard deviation of signal segments defined by horizontal and vertical cursors.	With the optional 2000-SCAN card, up to 10 voltage or 2-wire resistance channels or up to 5 4-wire resistance channels can be measured.
Using the optional 2001-TCSCAN multiplexer card, measure up to 9 temperature channels through thermocouples. This card has an internal cold contact compensation reference sensor.	Measure with a sensitivity of 1 µ Ω.	Use the 4-wire resistance measurement function to eliminate test lead errors.	Use offset compensation function to eliminate thermal contact errors.
Perform up to 0.0005 power line cycles or 8.3 on a 60 Hz (50 Hz) power line μ Measurement of s (10 µ s).	Using Keithley's internal instrument Test Script Processor (TSP ®) Perform testing and control other TSP or LAN based instruments..
